JK Rowling Produces Pottermore.com Teaser Website
JK Rowling has published a teaser website on Pottermore.com and a youtube holding page. Why?
The Harry Potter author has launched a website, called Pottermore, that only shows 2 owls that link to a youtube page that states that there will be an announcement at 12pm on the 23rd June.
There is also a cryptic message that “The owls are gathering…. Find out why soon”.
Fans are left wondering what it is all about, it is not thought to be another book and although the final chapter of the Harry Potter series is out in the cinemas on 15th July, it is not thought to be any sort of tie-in.
So what is this secretive new project?
Well there have been rumours around a Harry Potter encyclopaedia for a while now so it could be that; but we would prefer to think that, considering the scale of the Harry Potter stories, JK Rowling is much more ambitious than that.
We would love to think that JK Rowling and Warners Bros. have created something special, how about a Harry Potter version of an online world such as second life?
