The Most Boring Day in Modern History?
What does Sun April 11th 1954 mean to you?
A company based in Cambridge has used their computer modelling program to declare that this is the most boring day in modern history.
No significant births, deaths, marriages and the lowest amount of anything significant happened on that day according to the search engine TrueKnowledge.
There was a Turkish scientist and academic called Abdullah Atalar who was born on this day but that was really all that trueknowledge found.
As they themselves point out however, the fact that this day has now been labelled the most boring day of the 20th century may mean that it has now achieved some significance.
What were you doing on this day? Can you remember anything unusual happening or what an amazing day this was? Our guess is probably not, although ‘Rock Around the Clock’ was recorded and changed music forever… this was April 12th 1954.
