Prince William is Engaged. Royal Marriage 2011
Well, it’s official. After years of speculation Britain’s Prince William is engaged to his long term girlfriend Kate Middleton.
Speculation that the date was near has been rife since Kate’s parents were snapped staying at the Queens country estate. Meet the parents indeed.
Prince William (28) has been dating Kate Middleton (28) since 2003 and have had an on off relationship for some of that time but have always managed to stay together.
Clarence House (the official residence of Prince Williams father the Prince of Wales) said in a statement that the wedding will take place in London during the Spring or Summer of 2011 and will be releasing further details “in due course”.
“Prince William and Miss Middleton became engaged in October during a private holiday in Kenya, Prince William has informed the Queen and other close members of his family. Prince William has also sought the permission of Miss Middleton’s father. Following the marriage, the couple will live in North Wales, where Prince William will continue to serve with the Royal Air Force.”
